Installation Requirements

Ensure your workspace meets these requirements for optimal performance and safety of the Vision Miner 22IDEX V4.

Vision Miner 22IDEX V4 dimensions diagram showing required clearances for installation

Tools & Materials

  • Measuring Tape: To verify clearance.
  • Dedicated Power Outlet: See power specifications below.
  • Climate Control: Recommended if ambient conditions fluctuate significantly.

Space & Dimensions

Provide ample clearance for ventilation, maintenance, and door swing.

Environment

Maintain a stable environment to ensure print quality and component longevity.

ParameterRecommended RangeImpact
Temperature15C - 30C (59F - 86F)Prevents overheating or thermal strain.
Humidity30% - 60% RHHigh humidity affects filament quality and risks electronic components.

Power Requirements

Not a dual-voltage system single voltage only

The Vision Miner 22IDEX V4 is factory-configured for a single voltage input only. Connecting to the wrong voltage will cause severe damage. Verify your region's voltage before plugging in.

Insert power cable fully into the inlet

The NEMA 5-15p power cable must be inserted completely into the rear panel power inlet. A partially inserted cable can cause arcing, overheating, or connection failure.

Incorrect power cable insertion - NEMA 5-15p cable partially inserted into rear panel inlet showing visible gap

Incorrect: Cable is only partially inserted, leaving a visible gap. This can cause arcing, overheating, and connection failure.

Correct power cable insertion - NEMA 5-15p cable fully inserted into rear panel inlet with no gap visible

Correct: Cable is fully inserted into the inlet with no gap visible. Secure connection prevents electrical issues.
